Featured Band: Steel Rod
Steel Rod will be performing at the 2012 Newton Street Memorial Ride. Steel Rod is a local a favorite cover band who have performed for the Newton Street Memorial Ride for past several years. Their music is a variety of classic rock, hard rock, alternative and Spanish rock. Steel Rod has performed for other benefit rides (Century Ride and Compton Ride) and at the 911 Big Smoke Benefit.

Featured Band: Hot Rod Trio
With over 1,500 shows to date, The Hot Rod Trio has been playing in Southern California and the West Coast for the past 20 years, with the same band members. They were recently inducted into the ROCKABILLY HALL OF FAME, SECOND GENERATION!! The band has played all types of venues including clubs, bars, honky tonks, car shows, and private functions. They have played with countless bands including Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Deke Dickerson, Glen Campbell, Trisha Yearwood, Big Sandy and the B-52s.
